Employers pay a premium for complex problem solving skills. We reported this finding directly to the European Commission in 2015 within the interdisciplinary European Union FP-7 large scale research project LLLight'in'Europe (EU project #: 290683, EU contribution: € 2,695,000, Director Prof. Dr. Ederer).
I contributed with my on site assessments of more than 1800 employees in 60 companies in 14 countries on three continents and my leading authorship in the Policy Briefs "Enterprises are greatly important for Lifelong Learning activities" and "Complex problem solving: a promising candidate for facilitating the acquisition of job skills" to the European Commission.
